Kenvue Inc (KVUE)

Kenvue (KVUE) isn't a standalone consumer health growth story anymore — it's in the process of being fully acquired by American consumer-staples giant Kimberly-Clark (KMB), in a deal valued at over $48.7 billion enterprise value, the largest buyout in US consumer staples history. Shareholders of both companies approved the deal on January 29, 2026, with overwhelming majorities exceeding 96% (KMB) and 99% (KVUE) of votes cast. That means any analysis of KVUE today MUST start with 'when and how does this deal close' rather than 'how big can this company grow standalone'.

Kenvue was spun off from Johnson & Johnson in June 2023, making it the world's largest pure-play consumer health company. The business is organized into three segments:

• Self Care — cough, cold and allergy, pain care (Tylenol, Motrin), digestive health, smoking cessation (Nicorette), eye care
• Skin Health & Beauty — face and body care, hair, sun care (Neutrogena, Aveeno)
• Essential Health — oral care (Listerine), baby care (Johnson's Baby), women's health, wound care (Band-Aid)

Household-name brands you've likely used: Tylenol, Neutrogena, Listerine, Band-Aid, Zyrtec, Benadryl, Aveeno, Motrin, and Johnson's Baby.

Shariah status: COMPLIANT. As a consumer health/personal care business, there's no core revenue from alcohol or interest-based activity — the compliant status is consistent with Kenvue's underlying business model.

On leadership, Kirk Perry has been CEO since July 2025 — a relatively new tenure to navigate one of the largest M&A deals in the sector's history. There's also a finance-seat change underway: CFO Amit Banati announced he will step down effective May 12, 2026 to take a CEO role elsewhere, with Chief Accounting Officer Heather Howlett serving as interim CFO.
