The Kenyir Contract - A Potential Game Changer

In April 2026, SUNVIEW (through JV company CRE-Sunview with Cypark holding 60%, SUNVIEW 40%) announced a RM1.962 billion EPCC contract to build a 595MWac floating solar plant with BESS at Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu, for client TNB Genco. SUNVIEW's 40% share translates to an attributable contract value of approximately RM784.8 million.

This would become the largest floating solar project in Southeast Asia upon completion. Beyond the sheer scale, it signals that SUNVIEW can compete for and win contracts at an order of magnitude larger than its prior business.
