HIL manufactures interior and exterior plastic components for Perodua models — headlinings, body panels, interior parts for the Axia, Alza, Ativa, and Bezza. Historically, Perodua accounts for approximately 70% of HIL's manufacturing segment revenue.

This means: when Perodua launches a new model or ramps up production, HIL is among the first to feel the positive impact. Conversely, when Perodua sales slow, HIL feels the pain.

Malaysia and China Operations

Beyond its primary Malaysian operations, HIL also has manufacturing facilities in China (PRC) — adding an FX and geopolitical dimension to the company's risk profile.

This is not a minor partnership — PKNS is an influential Selangor state GLC. Additionally, HIL acquired 68 acres of freehold land in Banting, Southern Selangor in 2025. The property segment is building a foundation for meaningfully larger contributions over the next 2-3 years.
