Company Profile
AuMas Resources Berhad (formerly known as Bahvest Resources Berhad, rebranded December 2024) holds the distinction of being Malaysia's only publicly listed gold mining company. This makes AUMAS a genuinely unique asset in the Malaysian capital market — there is no direct peer comparison on Bursa Malaysia.
Mining operations are conducted through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd (WRSB), at the Bukit Mantri gold mine in Tawau, Sabah — a concession area spanning 317.7 hectares. Monthly production consistently exceeds 50 kg of gold doré.

Post-2023 Management Overhaul
In May 2023, MACC (the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) arrested former CEO Datuk Lo Fui Ming and five executives over allegations of royalty evasion and document falsification related to gold doré sales. Lo resigned and divested his shares on 31 May 2023. New management was installed, and the company has since been rebuilding operational stability and investor confidence.
⚠️ However, the legal saga is not yet resolved — Southsea Gold Sdn Bhd (75% owned by Lo Fui Ming) has filed civil suits against AuMas/WRSB, and the trial at Tawau High Court was still ongoing as of May 2026.
