ViTrox is not your typical semiconductor company. Founded in 2000 by Chu Jenn Weng and Steven Siaw Kok Tong — both alumni of Universiti Sains Malaysia — the company started from a small rented space in Sungai Dua, Penang, before growing into a global player in machine vision inspection systems.
Today, ViTrox operates from ViTrox Campus 2.0 in Batu Kawan, Penang — a modern technology campus that embodies the company's organic growth over two decades. The company has two core business segments:
ViTrox also develops V-ONE — an Industry 4.0 Manufacturing Intelligence platform — and electronic communication systems.
✅ Shariah Compliance: ViTrox is a Shariah-compliant stock listed on Bursa Malaysia, suitable for investors prioritizing halal investment.
ViTrox's key markets include Malaysia, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia — representing the global semiconductor ecosystem. With exposure to AI chip manufacturing, 5G smartphones, and electric vehicles (EVs), ViTrox sits at the intersection of three of the most powerful technology mega-trends of this decade.
