Malayan Flour Mills Bhd (MFLOUR) is Malaysia's oldest and largest wheat flour milling company. Founded on 15 October 1966 — over 60 years ago — the company began as a straightforward flour manufacturing operation and has since evolved into an integrated food ecosystem spanning poultry integration, overseas operations in Indonesia, and now a new Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food segment.

In May 2026, as the company celebrated its 60th anniversary, MFLOUR launched its first RTE products — microwaveable flavoured chicken meals (satay, ayam masak merah, ayam kicap, ayam kam heong) sold exclusively at Lotus's Malaysia for the first three months. This is more than just a new product line — it signals a clear strategic shift from a commodity-driven company toward a consumer food brand.

Four Business Segments

• Poultry Integration (PI) — Animal feeds, Day-old Chicks (DOC), contract farming, and poultry processing. This segment is volatile — margins can turn negative within quarters depending on feed costs and market chicken prices.
• Indonesian JV — MFLOUR holds a 30% equity stake in PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia. Previously a significant drag on group earnings (equity-accounted losses), it has begun turning around and contributed positive profits from Q2 2025 onward.
• Ready-to-Eat (RTE) — The newest segment, launched May 2026. Long-term growth potential in the convenience food industry.
