CDS linkage is the process of connecting your CDS (Central Depository System) account to the M+ Global trading platform. Without linkage, you have a CDS account but cannot use it to buy/sell shares through the app.

- M+ Global = the trading platform to buy and sell shares
- Linkage = the process of connecting both so you can trade

How to Check Linkage Status (Step by Step)
Step 1: Open M+ Global App
Log in with phone number + OTP as usual.
Step 2: Go to Account/Portfolio
Tap the Account or Portfolio section at the bottom.
Step 3: Look for CDS Account Number
If linkage is successful, you'll see your CDS Account Number, Trust Balance (even if RM0.00), and Available Trading Limit.
Step 4: If No CDS Number Shows
If the Account section is empty or shows no CDS number, your account is not yet linked. Follow the steps below.
How to Link CDS to M+ Global (Step by Step)
Step 1: Confirm CDS Account is Approved
Check your email for the CDS approval letter from Malacca Securities or Bursa Malaysia. If not received, the account may still be processing (usually 3-5 business days).
Step 2: Contact Mahersaham CS
Go to @mahersahamplatform on Telegram. Select Request and state you need CDS linkage to M+ Global.
Step 3: Provide Your Information
- Your Client Code
- CDS account number (if available - usually in the approval email)
- Full name as per IC
- IC number
Step 4: CS Submits Request
CS will submit the linkage request to M+ technical team. This usually takes 1-3 business days.
Step 5: Receive Confirmation
After linkage is complete, you'll receive notification. Log in again to M+ Global and check the Account section - your CDS number should now be displayed.
Step 6: Test with a Deposit
- Deposit RM100 to trust account via FPX
- Wait for money to arrive (5-30 minutes)
- Try placing a dummy order (e.g., a low limit buy that won't match)
- If the order goes through, your linkage is working
- Cancel the dummy order
Common Linkage Problems
"Login successful but portfolio is empty"
Cause: CDS account not yet linked, or linkage incomplete.
Solution: Check Account section for CDS number. If none, contact CS for linkage. If CDS number shows but portfolio is empty, that's normal if you haven't bought shares yet.
"Can login but can't place orders"
Cause: Linkage may be partially complete, or Trading PIN not set.
Solution: Set your Trading PIN (6 digits), deposit money via FPX, then try again.
"Old CDS account, just started using M+ Global"
Cause: Old CDS accounts (before M+ Global) may not be linked to the new platform.
Solution: Contact CS with your Client Code and old CDS number for re-linkage (1-3 business days).
